Old Settlers Extension
This project will be a connection from Red Bud N (CR 122) to CR 110. This is expected to be a 4-lane divided section with a bridge segment.
This project is part of the City’s Transportation Master Plan and will complete a new segment of Old Settlers Boulevard from N. Red Bud Lane to County Road 110, extending the east-west corridor and providing greater connectivity for residents to other roadways and destinations in the community.
The project was let for construction September 24, 2024, and construction began in December 2024. Completion is anticipated by early 2026.

Project Update: August 2025
The Contractor is progressing on schedule.
The concrete beams for the crossing over McNutt Creek have been placed. They are now beginning to construct the bridge structure on top of the beams (concrete deck, sidewalk, traffic rail, illumination, coating and painting). Bridge construction is scheduled for completion mid-October.
The concrete retaining walls at the ends of the bridges have been completed.
All the water/wastewater and storm sewer systems have been completed.
The asphalt base for the concrete pavement is under construction. Concrete paving should begin within the next three to four weeks.
There will be final work to add the topsoil and the vegetation back to the area, install the corridor fencing, sidewalks, metal beam guard fence, and signing and striping before the project is completed.
Project is scheduled for completion late 2025 early 2026.
