City Manager
Brooks Bennett became City Manager on December 8, 2024 after serving as Assistant City Manager since February 2015.
Bennett started his career in Round Rock in May 2004, holding positions in Communications and Information Technology, and ultimately serving as Chief Information Officer before being named an Assistant City Manager.
Bennett holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Austin and a Master’s in Public Administration from the University of Texas-Pan American.
Bennett was born and raised in Round Rock and resides here with his wife and two young children.

Brad Wiseman has served as Assistant City Manager since December 2023.Â
Brad Wiseman started his career in Round Rock in 2007 after working for five years at the City of Palm Beach Gardens, FL in their Growth Management Department. He served as the Director of Planning and Development Services for Round Rock from 2012-2023.
Wiseman has a Bachelor’s Degree from Florida Atlantic University in Urban and Regional Planning and Zoning and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from the University of Texas, Rio-Grande Valley.
