CANCELED 4th of July Rock’N River Water Park Pool Party

With the continued focus on the numbers count of COVID-19 in Central Texas and for the safety of all of our residents, the Rock’N River July 4th Pool Party have been canceled. Residents who purchased a ticket for the Pool Party will be able to use the ticket for a one-day entry to Rock’N River any day during the season, including 4th of July during the day, or any other day the facility is open. We apologize for any disappointment. For more information about COVID-19 and additional City information, go to

Theatre Arts & More! Camp

AIR THEATRE ARTS AND MORE CAMP! In this half-day camp led by Joshua’s Stage participants will have the opportunity to demonstrate their creativity, increase their self-confidence, and build their social skills while they engage in theatre arts, improv, music, dance, arts and crafts, and create-a-story. Participants will star in the Showcase for their family and friends during the last session as they perform an original class-designed play, sing both familiar and original songs, perform a choreographed dance routine, and present their photography exhibits. A positive experience will be shared by everyone as we embrace our H.I.P.P.P. Rules – our positive behavior supports within The Creative Outlet Method.

Sticky Fingers: ‘Kid’s Cooking Network’ Camp

Do your kids love watching cooking shows on TV? In this exciting camp, young chefs will work together in cooking challenges inspired by favorite cooking TV shows such as Master Chef Jr., Kids Baking Championship, Chopped Jr., and Cutthroat Kitchen! We will learn how to use different cooking equipment and techniques, explore flavor pairings, and create tasty mouthwatering recipes from scratch each day! Young chefs will get their creative juices flowing in this awesomely fun and delicious cooking adventure! Sticky Fingers Cooking | Co-ed Age: 5-12 years


Lego Movie Making

Kids work in pairs to create a sort story, draw it out, and build it with LEGOS, and then they bring it to life on film. Each session students will choose from THEMED LEGO KITS from MINECRAFT to SUPERHEROS (and more) and using those kits, crate their very own movie, complete with sound effects & even music. A copy of all projects will be provided via a screening link from the 4Reelz YouTube page for screening purposes. Instructor: E.S.T.E.A.M. Leaning Labs.  Co-ed Ages 6 to 12yrs.

Summer Swim Lessons Session 2

We are now registering for Swim Lessons Session 2 that runs Mon through Thurs from June 22 – July 2 for all ages, infant to adult.  We have taken extra precautions due to COVID and they are posted at

The Round Rock Parks and Recreation Department offers swim lessons year round. In the summer, classes are offered at Lake Creek Municipal Pool. In the fall and winter, classes are offered at the
Clay Madsen Recreation Center pool.

We proudly use the American Red Cross Learn-To-Swim Program and offer classes Private Lessons and Group Classes in Level 1 to Level 5. In addition, we offer classes for infants, toddlers, preschoolers and adults. Each participant should come in a suit ready to swim. Infant and Toddler classes run 25 minutes. All other classes run for 40 minutes, unless noted.
