Upcoming Meeting
The next meeting will be held at the CHASCO Family YMCA located at 1801 N IH 35, Round Rock, TX 78664. and will be for the Greenhill, Chapel Hill North, Sunrise VIsta, Sunrise Park, Settlement (S.), Onion Creek Village and Willow Bend Estates Neighborhoods. We will promptly begin at 6:30 p.m. and light refreshments will be served. Please be courteous not to interrupt the presentation. Once the presentation has concluded, Neighborhood Services Coordinators will be available to answer cleanup-related questions.
Our Next Neighborhood Planning Meeting will be on Tuesday, May 7th, 6:30PM
Each year Community and Neighborhood Services hosts Community Wide Cleanup Events in 4 to 5 select neighborhoods. The event is held on a scheduled Saturday morning, and is a great opportunity for residents to maintain and clean up their communities. Tools will be available to borrow and bulk trash as well as brush and yard debris will be picked up free of charge after the event.
A cleanup can be as big or as small as the community wants it to be. The purpose for the meeting is to get input from community members and to determine the level of participation necessary for a successful event. This meeting will focus on identifying residents from the neighborhood who need assistance, recruitment of volunteers willing to assist these residents, and upon conclusion of the presentation to answer questions related to the scheduled cleanup date.
Neighborhood Services Coordinators will also provide community members with a detailed explanation of services and resources provided by the Community and Neighborhood Services Department that are available to residents free of charge for the cleanup.
