Just two hours, or more, of your time. Great opportunity for those seeking volunteer service hours for school or work.

Register as a sidewalk chalk muralist

Register in advance to create your chalk art masterpiece on an 8-ft square asphalt space and perhaps you'll win in your category! All ages welcome.

Prefer a seat under a tent and a smaller chalk project? Register in advance and we provide an Ampersand board and 48-color pastel box. All ages welcome. When done, take your art (and chalk) home to enter into our virtual exhibit.

Round Rock Arts Fest is our annual celebration of creativity in all of its forms, with live performances, food and drink, vendors of all kinds, 8 foot sidewalk chalk murals being created before your eyes, visual artists, interactive art and music experiences, and more! Some of that “and more” includes a fun Oktoberfest with Bluebonnet Beer Company! This three day event is for families, residents, and visitors to Round Rock, and admission is free! Round Rock Arts Fest takes place at Centennial Plaza, in Downtown Round Rock, and is hosted by the City of Round Rock Arts and Culture.

Celebrating Food & Drink

Round Rock Arts Fest is two festivals in one, thanks to Bluebonnet Beer Company for providing its 10th annual Oktoberfest during throughout the three day weekend! We’ll be announcing our complete roster of yummy food vendors soon.

Celebrating Performance

Performances at our annual event include a variety forms of music and movement — with dance, martial arts, acrobatics, live music, and more! We also have space where visitors to the event can make music themselves!

Celebrating Vendors

This year we will have 114 mostly artist vendors for your shopping enjoyment. We also welcome you to get to know the numerous businesses and nonprofit organizations that are participating too!

Celebrating Chalk Art

Watch as artists creative sidewalk chalk murals, while still other artist render their creations on Ampersand boards and vinyl chalk squares (walk-ins welcome!).

Still more art of pastel will be celebrated with an exhibit by the Central Texas Pastel Society inside of the Baca Center lobby during the Saturday festivities.

Plus - More Art on View!

Enjoy art by members of the Center Art Club of Round Rock inside of the Baca Center lobby hallways! Outside of the Baca Center, near the Make Music tent, we invite you to enjoy live mural painting with Avery O Design, who will create a piece called “Birds of a Feather” during the event. This is a permanent mural. And if that’s not enough art, we also hope you’ll enjoy the Public Art that can be found in and around Centennial Plaza. Click here for an interactive public art map.

Parking and Ride Sharing

Round Rock Arts Fest takes place at Centennial Plaza at 301 West Bagdad Avenue in Downtown Round Rock. In addition to numerous free parking options throughout downtown streets and parking garages (see parking map here), ride sharing is available through various providers including Round Rock Rides, among other sources.
