The Round Rock Police Department has identified the victim in last night’s fatal shooting on West Main Street as 26-year-old Taylor Longshaw of Austin.
At approximately 5:30 p.m., officers responded to reports of a shooting outside TwoRooted Salon at 403 West Main Street. Upon arrival, officers found Longshaw outside the business where she worked, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Despite lifesaving efforts, she was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The suspect has been identified as 27-year-old Selena Eubank of Carrollton. Eubank fled the scene prior to officers’ arrival. She was later found near the 500 block of West Liberty Avenue, deceased from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Preliminary information indicates the incident was related to a domestic violence situation. The investigation remains ongoing.

The Round Rock Police Department is investigating a fatal shooting that occurred this evening on West Main Street.
At approximately 5:30 p.m., officers responded to reports of a shooting in front of TwoRooted Salon, located at 403 West Main Street. Upon arrival, officers found an adult victim with multiple gunshot wounds. The suspect had fled the scene prior to officers’ arrival. Lifesaving measures were performed, but the individual was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The alleged shooter was later located near the 500 block of West Liberty Avenue and was found deceased from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Preliminary information indicates this was an isolated incident, and the victim and suspect were known to one another. The investigation remains ongoing.
