What is the Crisis Response Unit (CRU)?

Created in 2022, the City’s Crisis Response Unit (CRU) assists families and individuals in Round Rock who are experiencing a behavioral health crisis.

Free Narcan Kits

Anyone can purchase Naloxone/Narcan directly from a pharmacy, and free kits are distributed by multiple non-profits in our area. The Crisis Response Unit has access to a limited number of these kits for distribution within the community. If you are a Round Rock resident and believe that you or someone in your life is susceptible to opioid overdose, you can call the Crisis Response Unit at 512-218-5516 to inquire about receiving a free kit.
