Inspections
The following information and links are helpful to the professional community involved with building, remodeling, or maintaining commercial occupancy.
Annual Fire Safety Inspections
Every occupancy will have a life and fire safety inspection regularly. An engine company may also visit occupancy and conduct a pre-fire incident plan. A pre-fire incident plan is a means for an engine company to be familiar with a business and locate hazards that may complicate an emergency response to that location.
Site Inspections
All occupancies must have all fire inspections prior to obtaining a certificate of occupancy. Supplement inspections and acceptance test must be completed and passed prior to the fire final.
Inspections that follow are required inspections, however, not limited to only these inspections. Other supplement inspections may be required in order to serve a special purpose or hazard.
