The City’s Water Conservation Program holds Rain Barrel Sales one to two times a year, typically in the Spring and Fall—see calendar.
Bulk Trash Pick-up
Now you can Spring Clean any time of the year!
Starting January 2025, you can choose when “spring clean-up” is convenient for you!
How it works:
- In-City residents (water bill comes directly from the CORR) can schedule one free bulk pick-up per year.Â
- Call Republic Services at 512-255-4980 one week before your regular collection day to schedule your annual bulk pick-up.
- Place acceptable bulk items neatly at the curb by 7 a.m. on your scheduled pick-up day.
Note: You can also place up to seven bags or small bulk items at the curb with your regular weekly pick-up. Find out more.
If you live in a Municipal Utility District (MUD), please contact your MUD to find out if any clean-up events are scheduled in your area.
Accepted and Not Accepted Bulk Items
- Non-Freon Appliances (accepted daily at Recycling Center)
- Furniture
- Scrap metal
- Lumber (4ft length or smaller and all nails, staples, brads, etc. removed)
- Mattresses
Non-Freon appliances such as washers, dryers, stoves, dishwashers, and hot water heaters can be placed curbside on your bulk pick-up day; however, they are not recycled. These can be recycled at the City’s Recycling Center during normal business hours.
