Friday-Saturday: 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.

Please note: The second and third floors close 15 minutes earlier than the above stated times.

Book Returns

There are two ways to return materials at the Library:

1. Return your materials inside at the book return on the first floor.

2. Two Outside Book Returns are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Located on N. Lampasas St. and E. Liberty Ave.

Parking for the Round Rock Public Library is available at and near the library. The map shows parking locations around the library.

Congratulations to our winners of the 2024 Young Author Writing Contest! Out of 149 entries, it was hard for the Teen Advisory Board (TAB) to select the top three in each category: Teens (ages 13-18) and Tweens (ages 8-12), but they did! We are very excited to announce who won this year!

Below are the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners from the Teens and Tweens categories:

Teens (ages 13-18)

    1st Place: Anna Lau, Age 13, “The Hidden Truth”
    2nd Place: Yejin Cheon, Age 13, “Nothing Gold Can Stay”
    3rd Place: Kelly Shen, Age 13, “Soar or Else”

Tweens (ages 8-12)

    1st Place: Sophia Rangel Santana, Age 11, “The Pirate Queen”
    2nd Place: Riya Pandya, Age 11, “Two Kids”
    3rd Place: Sahana Kameswar, Age 12,“Stage Fright”

Special thanks to the Round Rock Public Library TAB for volunteering their time to judge the contest entries. All contest entries will be included in a print book that will become part of the library’s local author collection for youth. The book will be available later this year for checkout with a library card. 

Thank you to the Friends of the Round Rock Public Library for generously donating the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes.
