Every time you earn 300 points you earn an entry into a prize drawing. The maximum amount of points you can earn in the Summer Reading Challenge is 1,500 points. After the first 300 points, you will earn a prize voucher good for a tote bag, a Book Nook voucher, stickers, and other fun prizes! Prize vouchers can be claimed at the Summer Reading Table on the 2nd floor or at the 3rd floor service desk.

• Earn one point for every minute of reading or listening to books.
• Earn 10 extra points in the program for completing a mission.

Complete a Mission

Pick from any of the following missions, or combine them, and record in your log! Make sure to take a pic of yourself completing the mission and tag us on social media with #RRPLReads.

• Visit the Friends of the Round Rock Public Library’s Book Nook on the first floor.
• Attend a library program.
• Try out one of our Featured Library Resources.
• Use Freegal to listen to your favorite songs for free!
• Submit a Book Wish to find your next great read.
• Learn more with Udemy or LinkedIn Learning.
• Donate non-perishable food items to the Round Rock Serving Center.
• Support the Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter. Visit their website for more information.
• Read to a child, senior citizen, or pet for at least 15 minutes.
