Welcome to the Discovery Pass Program! Use the smartest card – your library card – to gain access to history and culture that educates and entertains at participating Texas cultural destinations.**

How to get your Discovery Pass(es)
By placing a hold on the discovery pass(es) listed below, you will receive a notification when the pass(es) are ready for pick up.
STEP 1
Search our catalog with the key words “Discovery Pass” and place a hold – just as you would any library book. Note: only patrons over the age of 18 can reserve a Discovery Pass.
STEP 2
Wait for SMS or email notification that your pass is ready to pick up. Receiving this notification means that you can come to the Library and redeem your passes.
STEP 3
When you receive the notification that your pass is ready, take your library card to the first-floor desk to check it out. You have seven (7) days from notification to collect your pass.
STEP 4
You will receive a pass complete with a “Use By” date. The “Use By” date is seven (7) days from the date you pick up your pass. Your pass will only be valid on or before that date.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Currently, we have passes to: LBJ Library (up to 6 guests), Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center (up to 4 guests), and the Thinkery (up to 6 guests). You can only place a hold and check out one pass at a time. Any additional tickets would need to be purchased at the venue.
Any Round Rock Public Library cardholder over the age of 18 with a permanent library card in good standing can check out a pass.
Search our catalog with the key words “Discovery Pass” and place a hold for your pass. Remember, only patrons over the age of 18 can reserve a Discovery Pass.
To make our Discovery Pass program available to the widest range of library customers, you may reserve one Discovery Pass at a time.
When you receive the email or SMS notification that your pass is ready, take your library card to the first-floor desk to check it out. You have seven (7) days from notification to collect your pass.

No, the admissions staff on location will collect the pass at entry.
A Discovery Pass that is past the “Use By” date is invalid and will not be honored by the admissions staff. You may place another hold online and wait for your new notification.
