We enjoy a few rounds of Sleeping Queens! Super family friendly!
Do we still qualify if we aren’t in city limits? If so, we love Uno because everyone can play!
Our friends got us hooked on Dutch Blitz, and now we got everyone in our family hooked! It's such a fun, fast-paced card game! Another family favorite is Code Names. We love all of the different versions!
Effective May 10, a new tiered membership system has been passed for the Round Rock Public Library that limits free access to certain library services for residents living outside of the Round Rock city limits, while offering a paid option to those wanting the same access as residents.

I was at the city council meeting last night and only one other person was there with me to bring up some of the concerns about this tier system. The council mentioned they may make amendments based on the feedback they have heard. If you have a concern, please consider writing to the City Council about it instead of posting complaints here. My girls just lost their ability to reserve the next books on the series they are reading and it is extremely disappointing that we would have to pay $120 annually when we have no other home library fully accessible to us. I understand needing funds, but $120 is a lot for those of us with a Round Rock address whose sales tax at least certainly contributes to the library budget.
I think it’s great that people have the option to pay to have access to the library even though they live outside of the city limits and don’t pay city taxes.
This is incredibly disappointing. I have a round rock address, but according to the address checker live outside of the city limits. This means that my family does not get full access to *any* library without having to pay for it, because I also do not live within the bounds of any other library system. It would be one thing if I had another library option but chose to use RRPL instead. But my family has no other library option. How is cutting a portion of the population off from free full library access ok if there is no alternative available??
