Reserve a Study Room

Study Rooms

We have two study rooms for youth on the second floor and six study rooms on the third floor. All rooms accommodate up to four people.

Due to sound considerations and other factors, four is an absolute maximum allowed in these rooms.

Rooms may be reserved twice a week up to one week in advance.

Study Room Policies

Study Room Policies

  • Study room use is limited to resident library card holders and paid individual full access non-resident library card holders only.
  • Study room sessions are 1-2 hours per day.  The maximum reservation time is 2 hours a day and a maximum of 2 reservations per week whether they are one hour or two-hour reservations.
  • Reservations can be made no more than 7 days in advance.
  • Our rooms are in high demand. If you can’t make your reservation, please use the link in your confirmation email to cancel.
  • Each room has one table and four chairs. Chairs may not be taken from the other 2nd or 3rd floor spaces even if unoccupied.
  • Please bring your own HDMI cable if using the room-equipped television. If you do not have an HDMI cable, they may be borrowed from the 3rd Floor service desk by leaving your state ID or library card in exchange for the cable.
  • Our study rooms are not soundproof. Because of this, please be mindful of neighbors and keep noise and speaking volume to a minimum. You may be asked to leave the study room early if continuously bothering other patrons.
  • The third floor is the quieter workspace of our building. Please lower your volume when exiting the study rooms.
  • Drinks with lids are allowed; food is not.
  • Personal items should not be left unattended. The library is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
  • At the end of each reservation, personal items left behind will be taken temporarily to our 2nd or 3rd floor service desks, respectively, then by closing time, will be removed to the library’s “lost and found” area.
