Information for Fall 2026 registration is coming in August 2026.
Who We Are
The Round Rock Public Library’s ESL program is volunteer-led. Classes are organized into three sessions per year: Fall (Sept. – Dec.); Spring (Jan. – May); and Summer (June – Aug.). Classes are limited to 1 class per person. Each class is limited to 18 participants.
How it Works
Registration for the year opens in August. Once classes are full, a wait list is created. Students who are able to get into a class in the Fall session will automatically be enrolled in the Spring and Summer sessions (unless they miss 2 classes in a row without notifying the instructor). At the beginning of the Spring and Summer sessions, any open spots are filled with people who are on the wait list.
Assessment Session Dates
All those NEW to the RRPL ESL Program and interested in attending classes are encouraged to attend an Assessment Session.
At this session the ESL volunteers will assist in finding the best fit for the level of learning of each individual in this program.
Assessment session dates:
Wednesday, Aug. 5, 5-7:00 p.m.
Thursday, Aug. 13, 5-7:00 p.m.
Friday, Aug. 14, 10:00 a.m-12 p.m. and 1-3:00 p.m.
Saturday, Aug. 15, 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. and 1-3:00 p.m.
Please Note:
Participation in an Assessment Session does not guarantee a spot in the 26/27 ESL program. Interested individuals must still go through the 2 step Registration Process as stated below. Â
