After-school clubs and special events

We regularly host after-school clubs and special events. Events are posted on the library calendar and on the information boards within the library.  Check the calendar for occasional changes, special events, or cancellations so you don’t miss any fun!

Rockin’ Kids Club (ages 5-8)

Join us after-school for rotating activities from September – May. Check the calendar for occasional changes, special events, or cancellations.

Tween Programs (ages 9-12)

Love middle-grade fiction and graphic novels? The Tween Book Club meets on the third Thursday of every month during the school year.

Would you like to volunteer at the library? The Tween Council is a group of tweens, ages 9-12, who meet once a month to help plan tween activities/programs, select new library materials, and promote youth library events.

Interested in programming computer games?  Attend one of our computer programming classes.

Please see the library calendar for exact program/club dates and times.

Summer Reading

The Summer Reading Challenge takes place between June – August every summer.  Special events for kids are during the Summer Reading Program.
